You promised it live,
Words spoken loud, clear, and bold,
“Same time,” you said,
While the whole stream watched and believed.
USA first, as always,
We stand in line, hands empty,
Waiting at the door you never open,
Trust wearing thinner than patience.
Every month the same story,
Same silence, same delay,
Hope refreshed, then crushed again
By excuses dressed as truth.
If words had weight,
Yours would’ve paid us already.
But promises cost nothing
When lies come easy.
Send the Monthly, Eddie,
Or own the echo of your voice
Because everyone heard you,
And this time, we didn’t forget.
