One time I decided to join the race and win a place. I end up with on place and busted at the end. I just am confused as to how or what is the specific rule that even if it does not get a tie, each roll or if not eveyr other roll somehow my bankroll is getting decreased in amount little by little. Is there some kind of a deduction or what? I don't know hwo its computed even if I try to bet on both banker and player equally still there are lots of rolls where I find my balance decreasing. What's with that?

All wagering strategy ends with negative income in long time. If you want profit, you must quit in proper moment. There is no other way. U can't win with house edge.

The reason why you balance keeps decreasing even if you bet on both banker and player is you have to know the payouts
Lets say you bet on both banker and player in baccarat there are 3 case and there payout.
Player wins - 1.00x Banker wins - 0.98x TIE - 1.00x It's this 0.98x which cause you lose your balance so every time when you hit banker you will loose money
There is no way you ever be in +ve with this start as maximum payout it gives is 1.00x
