"Well, hello there, little one," she said, spotting Chester immediately. "I'm the Christmas Spirit of Small Wonders. And you, my friend, have a very important job tonight." She held out her hand, and in her palm sat a single silver bell, no bigger than a dewdrop. "Someone in this house has stopped believing," she whispered.
