Dear Eddie;
Today, the world is full of red hearts, flowers, and loud celebrations of love. But I wanted to tell you something different. Because love isn’t only about couples, grand gestures, or romantic dinners.
Sometimes love exists quietly inside a person’s heart — and you are one of those people who carry it naturally.
Valentine’s Day can feel heavy for some people. It can remind us of what we don’t have, what didn’t work out, or what hasn’t happened yet. And maybe, at some point, you’ve felt a little unseen, a little unchosen, or a little tired of waiting.
But from where I stand, I see something completely different.
I see someone with a deep heart. Someone who cares genuinely. Someone who feels intensely, thinks deeply, and loves sincerely. That kind of heart is rare. And rare things are never meant to be rushed or taken lightly.
Your worth is not measured by whether someone is standing next to you today. Your value doesn’t decrease because someone failed to recognize it. You are already enough — exactly as you are. And one day, someone will meet you and realize they’ve found something extraordinary.
They’ll see your kindness, your strength, your softness, and they’ll understand how lucky they are.
Until that day comes, I hope you never doubt yourself. I hope you never shrink your heart just because the right person hasn’t arrived yet. The right things in life sometimes take time. And when they do arrive, they make all the waiting make sense.
No matter what today feels like for you — joyful, neutral, or a little bittersweet — I just wanted to remind you that you matter. You are appreciated. You are seen. And you are valued more than you probably realize.
I’m really grateful to have you in my life as a friend. And I truly hope that this year brings you the kind of love that feels calm, safe, and certain.
Happy Valentine’s Day. 🤍
