A while ago, I randomly started stopping by a cafe after work and really like their carrot cake. Over time, it became more than just dessert. No matter how tired I was, seeing that carrot cake reminded me the workday was finally over. Ordering it became a small comfort.

The fact that becoming a professional athlete is a decision that should have been made in childhood means this career path will always remain a source of regret for me. I realized too late what I wanted.
