I have a tip: if you want to play lower stakes on games made by relax, switch to euro. It's 10 cent min for euro, 20 cent for usd.

Weekly, Monthly, Reloads, Pre Monthly, Post Monthly, bonus drops...

Why would they communicate or be transparent with you about giving a bonus to someone else?
Imagine if they aren't just random people on the street and instead they are players that the casino decided to give bonuses to based on the data they collected on them.
Casinos do give away money to random people all the time as well though. Like the weekly raffle.

I'll explain it.
When a casino gives you money it's not because they are a charity. They do it because they think it will result in them making more money.
When they don't tell you how they determine how much and who to give it to, it's because then most of the money would go to players that are simply taking advantage of bonuses optimizing their play based on the formula. They want you to gamble, not try and turn a profit on bonuses.
If they want to give a bonus to another player or a whole bunch of other players, but not you, then really it's none of your business.
All the crying in this thread really is ridiculous. Free money is nice, I like it to. But acting like a victim because they decided to give a bonus to another player and not you is pathetic.

I guess that means he's not going to fire the person responsible for deciding to send out bonus emails to some players but not Etude. You must be furious.
Maybe he forgot that you're a platinum VIP.

It's absolutely ridiculous how everyone is clutching their pearls because they found out that Stake sent bonuses seemingly out of the blue to some players, and they didn't get one.
I think we've got some mob mentality going on here with everyone thinking that if they act angry enough and make a big enough deal they'll get some free money.
Imagine running a casino and deciding you're going to target a subset a players for whatever reason, say because they' used to log in more than X times a week for Y minutes and now they only log in A times a week for B minutes. Or maybe they're just your favorite players. The reason doesn't matter, it's your casino and your money. So you send out the bonuses and next thing you know you've got nearly 1,000 posts in your forum like:
You guys know if you constantly bitch about stupid crap like this, it makes it a lot harder on yourself and everyone else when you have a legitimate issue.

No, it's about the $1,000 bonus email that went out.
People are mad that other players got it and they didn't.
Every single person that is complaining about this email is really just saying "I want money".
They found out someone else got some money, and that made them want money too.
I'm no different in that I want money. And when I see someone else get a bunch of money, I wish it were me that were getting that money.
It's a mistake to let this feeling control your opinion of the situation, so I try not to. And if you remove emotion from the equation, you'll see how idiotic the argument most people are making in this thread is.
-
dupeddonk got a reaction from GanXtah in Bonus e-mail
No you're missing the point.
Of course people have the right to criticize whatever they want.
Complaining about cuts to bonuses that you've been offered is totally valid.
Throwing a fit because someone else got a bonus that you knew nothing about until a player posted about it is idiotic.
And yes there are reasons to criticize stake for not being transparent. Like when they have leaderboards but never post the winners list.
But at the same time, a casino should be able to give a bonus to any player they want for any reason. You aren't entitled to an explanation since, It's their money, and it's none of your business.
So you're asking them to stop giving bonuses to other players that aren't you? lol ok
Remember, this is a thread about one issue. A bonus email that went out to some players but not all. That's the issue we're discussing.
-
dupeddonk got a reaction from GanXtah in Bonus e-mail
I agree there are issues with stake. Plenty of valid complaints to be made. When people complain about dumb stuff thinking maybe stake will give them some money for complaining, all it does is bury the legitimate issues.
Right now issue getting the most attention is this thread with over 800 posts from people flipping a shit because they found out that some players received a bonus but not them.
It's like when a toddler throws a tantrum because they saw another random kid get a cookie at the market but their mother won't let them have one.....unless....they throw a big enough tantrum maybe mom will cave and give them a cookie just to shut them up because it's embarrassing.

Nothing self righteous about my point it's just common sense.
Imagine walknig into a real casino and telling them that their head of promotions should be fired because you heard that other players got a mailer with free play and you didn't get one and between the years 2017 and 2020 you wagered millions of dollars at low variance 1% HE games so how dare they give other players bonuses but not you.
You're being even more ridiculous than that.

Eddie probably just didn't see that you were calling on whoever was responsible for sending the bonuses out to other players but not to you to be fired for doing such a despicable thing.
I'm sure as soon as he is made aware of your feelings he will fire whoever is responsible and make sure that never again will other players get bonuses if Etude doesn't get a bonus.

dupeddonk got a reaction from primelewis in How does the Crash game actually work?
They used a pretty cool method to come up with a list of 10 million crash points while proving Stake could not have influenced any of them. First they chose a bitcoin block that wasn't mined yet and announced publicly that the hash of that block would be used to seed the result of the first game along with a non-public server seed. Then they hashed that hash for the second game, and then repeated the process 10 million times.
So you can take the hash of any crash game and hash it, and you've got the hash of the previous game. With just one seed, you can go back and figure out the result of every single game that has been played since the seeding event (July 2019 I think), but because the hashing function is one way - it's impossible to go the other way.
