Barnaby the rabbit was the only one brave enough to venture out on Halloween night. The community's precious Magical Midnight Carrots were gone, and the elders were terrified.
Following a trail of subtle sparkles, Barnaby hopped through the spooky forest toward the dreaded Witch’s Garden. There, behind a giant pumpkin, he caught the culprit: Gregory the Groundhog, who was hiding the sack of carrots.
Gregory confessed he took them because he was sad he hadn't been invited to the Harvest Feast.
Barnaby, being a kind hero, didn't scold him. Instead, he invited Gregory to the party, promising him a job breaking open the ceremonial turnip.
The carrots were returned, the feast was saved, and Barnaby proved that sometimes, the biggest mystery on Halloween is just a lonely groundhog who needs a friend.
