The night before Christmas, a warm light was shining in the small town bakery. As the shop owner, I was baking special Christmas bread, gazing out the window at the people passing by. Some were rushing to get to their families, others were snuggling up with their lovers. Everyone looked happy.
The next morning, when I opened the door to the shop, a little boy was standing there. "I want to give this bread to my brother," the boy said, pointing to my bread. I smiled gently and handed the boy the freshly baked bread. A warm light lit up in my heart as I saw the boy's smile. It was the best Christmas present ever.
