So if I understand you we need to allow ref link if people say to us it was a genuine mistake ? 
I'm sure you can understand that we can't do that because it's just simply impossible to know if it was done maliciously or not.
You shared a ref link, I applied the politics about ref link. Point. Nothing to argue about, i was even soft about the mute since some had been muted for 999 hours or even perm muted for the same reason.

Maybe you missed the part "Do not post links advertising products of any kind" ?
When you share a affiliate link for an ICO or a new crypto currency it's just plain advertising.

But when someone take some times to publish something in the community, it is a way of contributing to its expansion. So it's for the greater good of everyone.
More the forum is active and filled with quality posts, more people will join us and their interventions will be guided by YOURS. If they see a great and positive community they'll act the same, if they see a bunch of inappropriate behaviours only those who want act the same will register.
Plus: More members = more players and at the end more we will be able to reward users (you).

Just FYI, there's nothing in the rules regarding passive/asking rainbot for rains. Could you please add that? Today at 8am PST (currently) there are over 1000 players in chat and I haven't seen a single staff in the english chat room, and the passives/rain begging is going insane -.-
