I see your post. I’ve had issues with affiliate earnings just not the same as your friend.
After being with stake for a year or two, I would have the odd chat with Eddie, usual banter, promotions etc etc.
he asked me one day about affiliate programs, gave me the run down and told me that he would boost my campaigns and any I made in the future.
only issue is he did not. I only came to notice this past February on a campaign that’s earned over 6 digits. The commission rate was set a .1 and my other campaigns were set at .25
when I noticed, I had mentioned to Eddie what was going on and if we could do anything about it. He told me to speak with Jae and from that point on, after 6 years of contact Eddie no longer replies to me. I understand if he wants to limit exposure to plebs like myself, he’s busy getting buff and eating chicken Parmesan. But the disconnect coinciding with being shorted over 100k cad is pretty shit move to do. I digress.
I reached out to Jae and was met with fierce resistance. Naturally and understandably, I’m making contact claiming I’m owed a decent sum of money. Each message from Jae was either saying one thing or another and luckily I had the messages saved on tg between the big man and myself where he says he will boost my rates from that point on.
at that time, I had the campaigns created just this one was not in use. So the main was increased to .25 and that was that. Seeing as it was my only active campaign, it was the only one I would look at the analytics and was able to see what was agreed upon was done. Naturally not being familiar with this kind of stuff why would I check to see if the others had been increased at that time.
eventually I used another link and got a frequent playing high roller that’s done me quite well. I was comparing the numbers between these two and I noticed that the wager amount was much higher on this high roller campaign but I had lower earnings than my original. After some digging I noticed the discrepancy and what was mentioned about went down.
in the end, there wasn’t even any negotiations between Jae and I in regards to money that I am owed. It wasn’t my fault the earnings rate was only increased on one program. All of them should have been done and due to an employee doing a half assed job, I’m out money. The only “compensation” I was offered/given was increasing my rates from .25 to .3. Which is complete bullshit cause likely that’s what anybody can get if they ask. I wouldn’t doubt if they on average give higher rates than what I got.
i have no way of comparing because I don’t know any users that have their own campaigns.
I made a post about this previously but it just fell through the cracks.
