Ending the Month on a High – My Stake Journey & Mindset
I genuinely love gambling on Stake because it feels personal. The community here actually feels connected—there’s nothing like this on any other casino platform in the world, honestly.
There was a time when I used to play only Stake Originals, especially Plinko, with just one goal in mind: making money. Like everyone else, I was chasing that 1000x. I even named myself plinkgod007 thinking one day I’d hit it big.
But over time, I realised something important.
Dropping balls again and again, chasing high dopamine hits, making infinite deposits just for that one big multiplier… it didn’t feel good anymore. It felt exhausting. That’s when my mindset shifted—and everything changed.
I stopped playing just to make money and started playing to enjoy the casino. Once that happened, the experience became completely different.
One thing I truly respect about Stake Originals is that they are fair. Outcomes are random, but our mindset changes based on results. Sometimes we start thinking someone is stopping us from winning—but that’s not true. Randomness is randomness.
What I’ve personally experienced is that playing different games increases your chances of hitting something decent compared to sticking to one single game for hours expecting a big win.
That’s also why I really enjoy Stake challenges. They’re a great way to enjoy the platform, stay engaged, and sometimes even increase your chances of winning something big. That’s the reason I do multiple challenges—it keeps the experience fun and balanced.
Another important thing I follow now:
If today I’m gambling with X amount, I’m very clear in my mind that this money is already spent. It’s for entertainment only.
That mindset can feel harsh, but trust me—it changes everything.
Chasing a big win by sitting on the same slot for hours usually doesn’t work. There’s no such thing as a slot being hotor cold. You can go from $2 to $2k, and you can also go from $2k to $2. It’s all luck.
Sometimes people curse the platform or even the owners, thinking they’re controlling outcomes—but honestly, that’s not how it works here.
One very important thing I’d say to everyone:
If you ever feel like you might go crazy after a loss, please reach out to Stake support and set deposit or loss limits. It genuinely helps and can save you from going overboard.
And then came one of those unreal moments.
Hitting a 10,000x on Packs Originals, pulling the last card, was honestly a top-of-the-world feeling. Not just because of the win, but because it happened when I was playing relaxed, enjoying the game, and not forcing anything. Moments like that remind you why this platform is fun in the first place.
