Perhaps to bet the underdog who won the first set to follow through and win the second set too

I've also considered that approach, but in tennis matches, it's quite common for the match to follow the pre-match odds, so even if a player loses the first set, comebacks are fairly common. It seems that it's not very frequent for an underdog to win both sets. Of course, this is considering the value compared to the odds.

there's a lot of variable to factor in , imo more of a case by case scenario not 1 by default

That is usually my approach for mid-game bets, if the underdog gets ahead, I go for the main
