goldentatsuo Posted September 20, 2024 #1 Posted September 20, 2024 I know Stake has been making changes to various aspects of the site to try to balance out "fairness" for players while reducing bots sucking up all the codes and other 'free money' drops, but one change in particular has really disincentived me to play as much anymore: the high roller bonus drop timers. The #1 reason is that I'm an east coast Stake.US player. I used to regularly play 25-100k+ because even if I hit a bad streak, at least the high roller bonus codes would cushion the blow and help out a bit. However, living on the EAST coast of US, I'm pretty much on the exact opposite time zone and schedule of whatever/whoever does Stakes code drops, and as such it seems the majority of codes (both high roller and normal ones) drop outside of the time when I am awake. Before, when it was "until the available amount was claimed" I could wake up the next day and get a few codes to help undo the damage, but now a majority of 'better' codes (this is all talking from a speculative viewpoint, I have no hard data aside from how it feels) seem to drop between 10pm-5am. When I've played at higher amounts like I used to, I now miss way too many codes with the new "timer" system (and boy has my luck been bad lately!). Anyone else feeling this way since the new change? If you do, I'd love to know what time zone you're in to see if there is any median who is feeling impacted more by the timer than others.
