Their 5000x+ max win potential makes them worth a shot. Without knowing you bank size, it's hard to suggest games to play. I'd never suggest ultra high volition hacksaw games, for example, if someone is working with 50 or 100$. Also wouldn't suggest hacksaw or no limit games where I buy max win spins or something crazy like that. With so many ways to play those bonus buys, telling someone to just play hacksaw is likely more harmful than helpful. One max win strategy I havnt heard mentioned that has worked for me multiple times with hacksaw games specifically is setting minimum bet and buying the 'guaranteed to land at least 2 (or 3)' of the bonus feature. Spins are ~5$. Some of those buys are much better than others (usually games where the guaranteed reel buys come with a chance to land with huge multipliers) but for smaller banks, picking games that pay somewhat well in standard spins is crucial and can make the swings in your bank not as big. If starting with around 200$, being ok with going down 100$ or more before a decent win brings you back to even or up, is the mental game. Regardless of your bank, the goal is to play as long as possible going up a good amount and down a good amount repeatedly. Depending on the game, you'll get 3,4 or 5 of the buy feature fairly often and, with games like Spinman eventually 4 or 5 will all have 10-50 x multipliers and you'll hit max. some good games to try first for this strategy: Spinman, Rainbow Princess, Devine Drop, Stormforged, Pyrofox Note: some games with this feature buy are way more volitile and pay almost nothing till a big win. So if you have a small bank, try to recognize these and bail if you aren't hitting. Duel at Dawn, for example, can have huge multipliers on the bonus reels, but can go through really long dry spells where your 5$ buy wins nothing. Again, for max win hunting specifically, this strategy is playing as long as you possibly can. Look for games where you are making back 3-5$ a spin fairly frequently and hitting 8-30$ wins fairly often.👌 Edited October 26, 2025 by Rainbutt

I’ve noticed games with cluster pays seem to have more potential if you're chasing max wins. I usually play while keeping tabs on odds at the best offshore sportsbook, makes the whole experience more fun with both spins and lines going.
