Hello, all.

I want to discuss about the number or frequency of bitcoin or etherium theft in our account. there before I have an idea or a little idea that might help deal with or minimize theft. why am i writing this? because I feel a little this is very important for all of us. especially after my friend's account was stolen . let's give us the same input / opinion in this post.

in my opinion, before withdrawing from an account stake maybe very necessary to verify in advance the relevant email. apologize if my words are very bad and not much can be understood.

thank you 🤗

While i personally have not had any problems with my account security i do believe a verification email for withdraws is a good idea and would like to see this implamented here at stake>

Are you going to be lazy, or are you going to be responsible? :P To a certain extent, I agree that having both is okay, makes the account practically impenetrable, but if you're lazy to enter the 2FA code, how are you not lazy to enter the email, this makes no sense to me? Positive sides of 2FA - you have a phone by your side and no one can breach your account without the access to your phone too. A negative side of an email - if your password is hacked, there is a possibility email can be as easily, and then everything connected to that email is in danger - all accounts, contacts, private info, etc. :)

My point being - enable 2FA, don't be lazy, it will give you a piece of mind! ;)

Only just yesterday I had my account hacked and my btc and eth stolen (about $60 worth). Unfortunately, I had not enabled 2FA as it seemed as a complicated procedure at the time. The truth is it is a bit complicated to set up and I had to ask a mod to help me with it (thank you Bojana and Katarina), however it is totally worth it, if it enhances security. It is a terrible feeling to see your balance at zero and you keep refreshing the page because you think there is some problem with the site, only to find out that unauthorised withdrawals took place while you were logged out. I strongly advise all of you to enable 2FA asap.

As @Bojana said, trusting your security on an email address is not good at all.

And Im talking from experience, cause years ago my email was hacked so I learned the hard way....

Just imagine for a second that many websites where you are an user (online wallets, exchanges, casinos, whatever...) send you mails about upgrades, promotions, etc., so if somebody enters your mail box it can see that you are an user in certain sites.

AND if the security on those sites depends ONLY on email, you are screwed. The hacker uses the "I forgot my password" feature that is available in many sites, so that a password reset link is sent to the email box that used to be yours.....

And then if the withdrawing of funds is also secured by sending email to the same inbox, the hacker that controls your email has the key to withdrawing with no problem....

2FA must be activated, that is my advice. No security measure is 100% perfect, but having 2FA is the best you can do currently.

Yes they may email us before the withdrawal or add an option of 2-F authentication or Google authentication before the withdrawal to be processed in order to provide more convenience to the users and to avoid such risks of account stolen or payment stolen.

But some people would have secured their email like a lot like sms text to log in and so many securities so maybe a feature whether to choose 2fa or email ?
