While browsing Twitter recently, I came across a post from the official Stake account regarding a "Stake Christmas Giveaway" (see tweet here: (https://x.com/Stake_ac/status/1871758872119279984)). The tweet mentioned a bonus claim opportunity until December 26th, 2024, with instructions to visit an external website and connect a wallet. However, upon further investigation, I noticed that the link provided in the tweet (http://bonus-stake.ac) appears suspicious and may be part of a scam. The website instructs users to connect their wallets and cover gas fees, with no indication that this is a legitimate Stake promotion. The comment section on the tweet further raised concerns, as several users are engaging with the post, likely unaware that they are being targeted by fraudulent activity. As I believe this could potentially harm the Stake community, I wanted to bring it to your immediate attention. It would be reassuring to see swift action taken to protect users from this scam. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill for helping to protect the Stake community and raise awareness of this issue, I would greatly appreciate any feedback or a reward for my efforts, especially during the festive season.
