It seems mining is not profit anymore nowdays, because the difficulty is more harder than before, but it depends on which coin you mining. Me personally never do mining because i don't have much money to buy the mining rig.

Because it's hard to manage your rigs and maintenance it, also i have 0 experience about mining.

Rather I will recommend it for the first week of a new coin release, when the difficulty is pretty low and you can mine about a 10k balance where later you manage only 10k satoshi . That is the difference has a project gets older and mining becomes only a job for ASIC or GPU. For the long term, the POS coins are better.
