I see a LOT of possible bots in the Stake Poker rooms, especially in the freeroll tournament. People that don't make a decision, time runs out, they get sit out and then after an exact amount of time, jump right back in. I sat next to one of these "people" in a freeroll tournament and intentionally played them out - let the cards deal fully on the table and see what they have, and one of those times they had a massive win over my hand, yet no bets, no raises - nothing. Then immediately do the same thing again, timing out a preflop and jumping right back in.

Secondly, there are users who join all the ring game tables. Now that's pretty normal, online poker environment allows one to do that, but I am seeing these people winning absolutely unbelievable hands CONSTANTLY. I understand the nature of Poker is that there are a lot of variance, but to watch these players sit at their tables and win consecutive hands after hands after hands, getting dealt turns and rivers that heat them up and cool others off so they win all the time (and yes I checked - even marked their profiles to see if they're the same person winning over a period of DAYS), makes me question - does Stake have their own poker bots to fill up the tables? And then to go look for the provable fairness of the Poker games, only to see it is nowhere to be found.

The last few times i played poker on stakes i had my suspicions about bots ...i mean is it fairly possible, but house bots are another story...that's a dirty business i doubt they're foolish enough to pull this off... that said there's a lot of factors that suggest that they are not okay with having a lot of regular, grinder and winner's...so who's gonna do that deed? in theory there a wide open slot.

who knows maybe there are a lot of players acting strangely with weird timing That shouldn't surprise....but you know when the players' pool is small the RNG gets weird, some players can catch a hot streak in some unusual way

In Poker, offlinee or online, it's a known practice in ring games that the casinos do send people irl/bots online out just to keep the tables going. While I don't have a problem with this practice, it's the lack of provable fairness, something that Stake ALWAYS talk about in their process of being transparent, that I'm worried about. As much as I can try to avoid the suspicious players I marked, it surely doesn't help when I go spectate their play and see the same ridiculousness over and over again

Easy money, adapt and take all their money

Wish I could adapt to the table dealing cooler turns and rivers and leaving you with no way to win at all 😂

Most of the players have no idea about poker. They just play any 2 cards and have no strategy.
They do not understand the game and some of theme didn't even played poker before.
So it is normal to see some strange gameplay from them.

If you think that's bad, I had someone at my table last night who had a name exactly the same as another person at the same table, just different ending numbers. Best part is one would go disconnected while the other was playing and vice versa; and it was always the account with the lower chips that was playing.

To me it's probably far more common to have people playing on multiple accounts which isn't allowed and breaks rules of its own, let alone poker rules, that is more bothersome. But then, how do you prove it.
