Chinese City Is Using Blockchain to Track Convicts on Parole

Recently I spoke about how blockchain can be use to make elections or in a medical environment to track the files of petients. This time it's for jail people that blockchain have a reason to exist.

Zhongshan is a chinese city where the convicts can be tracked over a blockchain network.They deployed the technology across various community service centers where parolees are required to check in and complete daily duties.

From a practical point of view it allow every services to know in real time the movements of the convict, no need to check in and call other offices to know if the convict did his duty or not, everyone can access the last known information at anytime. The goal is to reduce the manpower burden of the usual system.
