plinkofiend Posted March 10, 2025 #1 Posted March 10, 2025 Yooo guys, finally decided to post about this. Many know about this exploit, and how unfair it is. For those that don't know the details, or have never even realized it was happening.. I wanted to lay it all out and start pushing stake to do something about it. I don't think they deserve any of our hard-earned money if this disgusting practice continues. OK... here is the gist: Do you know which language the majority of stake users speak primarily? English of course. (So much so, that the rules for English chat would normally be attributed to a global chat on other websites.) It is safe to assume then, that the most of the money coming in, is coming from the an English speaking player base. Now, English chat has by far the most amount of concurrent chatters. We can say 1000 give or take, even though it is almost certainly an underestimate. I can imagine the funding for rain bot comes out of stakes overall net profit, which as we established, most of which comes from an English speaking player base. According to a mod I am not going to name, rain bot distributes rain evenly among all the chatrooms Problem with that is: Korean chat, for example, has 10-15 active users MAX Which in terms of income for stake, is dust compared to the income generated from English users. Now.. I know for a fact the top 10 rain farmers in Korean chat make upwards of 1500$ USD per player each and every single week. It is guaranteed for them because of the amount of active users and the gate-keeping done by the people who benefit from this exploit. Compare that to English chat where the top 10 rain farmers usually range from 200$-300$ per week, which is BY FAR the least out of all the languages. It is the same story for other chatrooms besides Korean but Korean is a guaranteed 1500$ each per week, so it's the best example. So, even though most of the funding (in one way or another) comes from English chatters. It is funneled directly to a chatroom(s) where the profit made from them is negligible at best. This is no small amount. This is a GUARANTEED 6000$ a month for each individual. I do not know about you guys, but when I look at this after losing thousands of dollars it makes me sick to my stomach. 6000$/month-- no, let's round down 1k. Even if it was 5000$/month That is more $ than a lot of people who play here religiously, make working a full-time 9-5 job. Think about that for a second... The effort you put in for a paycheck, so you can deposit, vs. the effort one of those rain farmers puts in, and where that rain comes from. If this does not make you feel like stake is disrespecting your loyalty to a sickening degree. I don't know what to tell you. Personally, I do not know how QA overlooked this blatant problem with how rain bot works. I work in QA, and when it is your job to ensure the quality of a product or system, a red flag that obvious is a lay-up. It is the type of problem I will not even write up because I know that one of my colleagues is already on it. So either the people who are supposed to make the website better are laughably incompetent, or stake knows what is going on, but for some reason it is in their best interest to keep it the way it is. Please vote this up, so someone at stake who actually matters will see this and be forced to address it. Let me know your thoughts, because calling this system unfair would be an understatement, businesses get boycotted for MUCH less. BaiiGG, FL3CHA2000, nicomar97 and 5 others 1 7
liobkia Posted March 10, 2025 #2 Posted March 10, 2025 Its totally unfair. Agree with every word. You made a good job, even give us and stake proff with numbers. Im with you, and totally waitting for answer from stake staff. FL3CHA2000 1
Evostevens Posted March 10, 2025 #3 Posted March 10, 2025 (edited) It's been a huge problem nobody at stake cares about. In addition to what you say, we should also keep in mind that english chat, didn't even have a rain bot, so the majority of time the player base that makes the most profit for the company, wasn't even considered for stake funded rains in the first place. Which is mind-blowing in itself. I can without a doubt say, that in my 4 years on stake, I have most definitely received less in additional bonuses (ladder mails, promotions, stake-funded rains, etc. etc.) , than some people, in the mentioned chat rooms receive weekly in rains. Apart from the regular weeklies and monthlies ofc. I have roughly lost $75.000 on stake.. If we go by your math of $5.000/month, those players could make back my losses in 15 months just by farming rains, while a regular person working a 9-5 would need 12,5 years to undo this damage by saving up $500 a month… That's absolutely crazy to me. The system requires a makeover badly, but they don't care enough. We just a spoke on the wheel, and it's going to keep turning with or without us. Seriously miss the times Eddie cared. ParthsainiOP Posted March 10, 2025 #4 Posted March 10, 2025 I thought rain was random and it is given randomly but now I know the reality. It is really concerning
xlyn Posted March 10, 2025 #5 Posted March 10, 2025 The only problem i see in rainbot is that when i get rain it only happen for a day or two, but as you became a regular chatter and see the same people getting rains for atleast 6 days straight like wtf is that shit? For me its better to remove the Rainbot to avoid jealousy and this stufft just increase rakeback percentage.
N.A Posted March 11, 2025 #7 Posted March 11, 2025 I'm not an advantage player but I don't hate on them (if they truly exist here) because a lot of them would be broke maybe even starving without AP. I say leave it be. Plus I like rain, I got like $15 today.
Fattan90 Posted March 11, 2025 #8 Posted March 11, 2025 Do you actually know the total losses of those you consider farmers?
kibitz Posted March 11, 2025 #9 Posted March 11, 2025 huh? we can farm from rainbots? what kind of delusions is this
moby Posted March 11, 2025 #10 Posted March 11, 2025 i withdraw 9k six days ago and not a single drop on me. I play like 12hours per day and talk . also i have 350k wagger . FK it

moby Posted March 11, 2025 #13 Posted March 11, 2025 right but says it to me .. have no problem with that
XeroF Posted March 11, 2025 #14 Posted March 11, 2025 They trying to fix this by doing rain bans for 7 days for these players that recieved "to much". English talking players are also in the local chats... and no one knows how rain bot works it could easily be based on what players in that chat room contributes to the site. 85% of the people in english chat dont contribute anything to the site really thats well known.
crisulu Posted March 12, 2025 #15 Posted March 12, 2025 (edited) The Stake rain system is generally broken. When I rain on sports multiple times, half of the users are always the same somehow. Most of them, whether repetitive or unique, are users from whom I have never seen a message. Also, I rarely see rain bot in sports chat and I spend plenty of time there. DRAW4 Posted March 13, 2025 #17 Posted March 13, 2025 im a newer player when it comes to rainbot but since ive been actively playing and sitting in chat i received rain 1 single time the very 1st day for almost $10 since that day which was weeks ago i havent received rain a single time and ive even made it rain 5-600$ since then and still cannot get any idk whats wrong y i cant get it anymore is frustrating tho seeing the same people time after time getting it..
og4999 Posted March 13, 2025 #18 Posted March 13, 2025 I also feels the same, sometimes feels like i am shadow ban for rain
redhornetx1 Posted March 14, 2025 #19 Posted March 14, 2025 This is so true. Out of curiosity, I took a look at their chat and it's always the same maybe 15 names farming everything. Obviously the same is happening also in other smaller chats. Meanwhile in the English chat you have hundreds if not thousands rain eligible users...

Agreed. And English chat doesn't deal with the hundreds of people who only come in there daily to post a 0.01 win bet ID or the ones that come and say 1 word every 20 minutes. It's hella different from what it is in local chatrooms. And the 7day rain bans are meant to "stop" people who get too much bonuses but their system is kinda broken when it comes to that. And to the other guy saying that english chat contributes the most when the top5 highest betters every week like Aldo, kazefuziyama and placebor isn't even english chatters they're from turkey, japan and other places.
nicomar97 Posted March 16, 2025 #21 Posted March 16, 2025 The current system is shit. It benefits only a few. It's truly disgusting. plinkofiend and FL3CHA2000 1 1
kazamemer Posted March 17, 2025 #22 Posted March 17, 2025 When I was actively wagering above 3.5k I only got rained on once in 2 weeks and I was an active chatter Now I can't afford to wager 3.5k and I'm thinking what's the point even if I did

Just because one big player is another language does not make up for the money they make off of the majority of players. The low-rollers always lose more TOTAL, that is where the money is made. Also we deal with English chat being english chat in name only. Everybody with common sense knows it is treated like global. Broken english or bronze farmers all day.. Also I was not talking about the auto one where you get the email. I was talking about mods handing out 7 day mutes to people coming from english, meme ci je parle francais. c'est pas parfait mais si tu regarde anglo c'est fou. broken english, gl farmers, and bots. From your initial post, you seem to suggest that farmers are earning significant profits. So, do you actually know their total losses and wager? Is it because when they are active in the chat room, they receive more tips from the rain bot? I understand your point, but unfortunately, there is no transparency from Stake.com regarding the explanation of the rain bot system. They only provide the minimum wager requirement of $3,500.
