atsa21 Posted Wednesday at 03:58 PM #1487 Posted Wednesday at 03:58 PM Hello Natasha, this is Aditya. Username: AdityaThakur21 I'm online almost daily, usually around 8-10 hours, sometimes more on weekends. My understanding is pretty straightforward — moderators are there to keep the chat friendly and fair. If someone breaks a rule, first give them a heads up, and if they keep repeating it, a mute (short or long depending on how serious it is) is the right call. The goal isn't to punish people but to keep the space respectful for everyone. Why I want to do this — I genuinely enjoy being part of the community and helping people out. A few things about me: I'm patient and calm even when chats get heated, which I think matters a lot for this role I've seen quite a bit of spam and scam attempts lately, especially targeting newer Indian users, and I'd like to actually do something about it instead of just reporting and moving on I want to help make the Indian chat feel more organized, welcoming, and safe from scammers I'll be honest, I have been muted once or twice in the past for silly reasons, but I've learned from it and it won't happen again — and if anything, that experience taught me how a small warning can actually correct behavior instead of just being ignored. I haven't moderated a Discord server specifically, but I've been an active, trusted member in a few gaming and trading communities where I regularly helped new members and flagged troublemakers to admins. Yes, I'm completely fine working night shifts — actually prefer it since I'm most active then anyway.

Nithin4 Posted 3 hours ago #1491 Posted 3 hours ago tallanithin 6+ hours daily. I am consistently active on Stake, engaging with the community and monitoring the chat flow throughout the day. A moderator’s job is to keep the chat safe, welcoming, and respectful for everyone. This includes actively monitoring the chat box to prevent rule violations—such as inappropriate language, begging, or sharing personal information—and taking appropriate action (warns/mutes) when necessary. They also help guide users, answer questions, and maintain a friendly community atmosphere. Since I already spend a lot of time on Stake and enjoy reading and engaging in the chat, becoming a moderator feels like a natural fit. I want to contribute to the community by keeping the chat clean, safe, and positive. Additionally, being fluent in Hindi, Telugu, and English allows me to seamlessly communicate with and assist a diverse group of users across multiple language groups. Yes, once. It was a minor misunderstanding in the past, but I learned the chat rules thoroughly from that experience and have strictly followed them ever since. No. This will be my first official moderator role, but as a dedicated long-time user, I know the community rules well and am eager to prove myself. Yes, absolutely. I am naturally active during night hours and already spend most of my nighttime on Stake, so working night shifts fits my schedule perfectly.
