If I had a family Easter tradition, I’d imagine it would be something a little quirkyβ€”like a β€œmidnight egg swap,” where instead of hiding eggs in the morning, everyone sneaks around at night trying to hide one special egg for someone else, with a clue attached. Kind of like Easter meets secret Santa.

We pass around a giant Easter egg, which one of my uncles always buys, until it breaks or falls, and whoever breaks it has to share the pieces among everyone.Β  Β  Β  Β Β Β Id: martughi

Egg Cracking Contest

Each person picks a hard-boiled egg and faces off with another family member by tapping the pointed ends together. The egg that cracks is out, and the winner moves on to the next challenger. The last person with an uncracked egg is the champion and gets bragging rights for the whole year!

Answer: We do an egg hunt and big breakfast in the morning. The evening is a big roast dinner and our traditional trifle for dessert.Β
