Answer: I would go home. As a Millennial Scoop Survivor, I grew up away from the large family I come from—my mom had 15 brothers and sisters. So my dream Easter would be on Vancouver Island’s wild west coast—T’Sou-ke territory—where ocean mist clings to towering cedars and eagles nest above the cliffs. We’d hit the beach at dusk, surrounded by the setting of the Pacific sun, the soothing sound of waves, the warmth of family, and the spirit of reconnection.
