My experience is nothing like that. You are nearly guaranteed to lose if you are looking for an extended streak, and let the god save if you try doing martingale or something.

But if you just want to double your money with a hefty amount, often you'll end up ahead.

But again, that comes from my own experience and doesn't guarantee you will win a particular hand.
