Is the "Rain Ban" on Stake Real or Just a Myth?

Hello Stake Team and Community,

I've noticed something curious and wanted to bring it up for open discussion.

As we know, the Rain system on Stake rewards active users randomly—provided they meet the weekly wager requirement of $3,500. However, a number of users (myself included) have observed a pattern: despite meeting the required wagering, some accounts stop receiving rain for exactly 7 days—as if there's a hidden cooldown or restriction in place.

After the 7 days pass, rain starts appearing again. Yet when this is mentioned or questioned, the official response has been that no such "rain ban" exists.

So this raises a genuine question for the Stake managers and devs:

👉 Is there actually a rain ban or cooldown mechanism in place that temporarily disables rain for certain users? Or is this just a coincidence that many users are misinterpreting?

It would be great to get some transparency on how the rain system really works—or if there's any backend behavior users should be aware of.

Looking forward to hearing thoughts from both the community and Stake representatives. Let's clear up whether the rain ban is fact or fiction.

Rain is a community reward feature on Stake where free money (crypto) is randomly given out to active users in the site's public chats.

Here’s how it works:

The system randomly selects users from the chat and gives them a small amount of free crypto.

This is often called a "rain drop".”

It usually happens automatically and frequently throughout the day.

You must be active in the chat and typically meet certain requirements (l3500 usd weekly wager amount) to qualify.
