I don’t think it would be hard to implement as just like regular chat you can’t enter until you meet certain criteria. What do you all think ?

Maybe it can be by invite only? So all the active and well known people on Stake can join it. I really dig this idea

Mlc Posted October 7, 2018 #5 Posted October 7, 2018 I like this idea but maybe not for being a member for a year , even though i have , lots of cool people wouldn't meet that criteria , maybe it could follow the forum rules of 100 posts or ( meaningful post like a topic for discussion not just a simple yes, no, wow reply ) A user suggested something similar recently about being able to create chat groups and only able join if invited but i voted against that one simply because i wouldn't like the thought of not getting an invite to a group and been left on my own , its a community chat therefore invites shouldn't be needed , but a vip room sounds fantastic , the advantages being obvious . less noob spammers , less rain spammers, more real conversations and of course who wouldn't feel awesome being able to say " oh yeah i'll be in the vip room today !!"
irawk0 Posted October 7, 2018 #6 Posted October 7, 2018 Prefer seeing how the chat goes after faucet is entirely phased out. Hopefully less beggars/passives then. A VIP room doesn't make sense since new highrollers are constantly joining the website, however a minimum waged amount or minimum deposited does make a lot of sense. I'm guessing almost all the passives in chat have never deposited and are merely here to beg, hope to strike it rich, and withdraw.

What do you all think ? Haha for og players?:D yeh it will be nice to prevent seeing alts or those who just ask for tips. It will be like a chill chat room:)

Everyone complains all the time with that beggar, spammer, cheap players.... but you forgot mostly that the reason why you see the chat is active, all quality members most spent time playing the game and no one would feel exciting about your 10k trivia or when you won /lose a stupid 10k sts bet. VIP chat room would be cool but soon all VIP will be back to the normal chat that's why it wouldn't be success

That's what I was thinking would happen, lol. I had VIP at faucetgame, and I was sad to discover that the VIP chat box was far far less exciting than the normal chat. It seems like a good idea, but I think part of the chat energy is having such a large number of users popping in. Once that element is removed, chat gets very stale.

Or maybe have someone from the support monitor that channel since i think they can detect if people chatting in a certain channel are alt accounts.
