Mlc Posted October 8, 2018 #1 Posted October 8, 2018 hello everyone ! Do any of you guys play chess? I have a love hate relationship with chess but i think it would be a great addition to stake! I have recently seen suggestions for player vs player games which i would love to see on stake , but instead of poker or other well know casino games why not try something a little different. something like chess , maybe have 1 player create a game and buy in for a certain amount and wait for a players to join , they also have to stake the same amount , winner takes all , pretty simple really , Or maybe challenge a stake bot , like can you get checkmate in so many moves the least amount of moves the higher the prize, Again there could be daily or weekly puzzles on the chess board to solve Anyway its just an idea and I would love to hear your thoughts before i make the suggestion to admin , if its a crap idea let me know , I wont be offended ! or you can tell me im pretty fantastic and you like it ! (again i wont be offended)

(again i wont be offended) Chess would be a nice game. 😉 However, if I'm Stake's dev, I wouldn't choose that. Its going to be a slow profit game for Stake. Also, i think there would some issues, since we use seeds on bets.

But i think, if devs would really focus on Chess and is really into putting it on the site, im sure there's a way to incorporate it with seeds. 😉
lolipant Posted October 9, 2018 #8 Posted October 9, 2018 puzzle doesn't really fit with gambling tho, puzzle meant there's a best way to solve the problem and the site can lose 100% of a time a match between a player vs player and the site take small fees is ok, but i don't see that on stake, since it would take a long time to completed just a single match (it also need opponent too)
ceastem Posted October 9, 2018 #9 Posted October 9, 2018 how about they start some kind of tournament of their own and the other non participants gets to bet who wins or loses? games can have some kinds of varieties like chess as she said, or poker or even rock papers scissors. would be fun to cheer for someone on stake lol and at the same time bet on them

Moderator luizoruivo Posted October 10, 2018 Moderator #11 Posted October 10, 2018 I have several reasons to disagree I've never seen chess in a casino, it would be very easy to download a bot and put the plays in it and exploit the goodwill of those who just want to have fun, I do not think it would be something profitable to have on the site Is already offered with excellence in other places. Do not misunderstand me, I liked your idea. But I can not see it made feasible in the stake. I love chess, but involving money in any quantity changes its meaning. My grandfather's father died on a chess debt, my grandfather was horrified to see me playing chess even without money.
