vycyn Posted 19 hours ago #26 Posted 19 hours ago Gotta go with D, Gintama really is the cheat code here. It's like picking all of the above but with way more dirty jokes.
novaraeon Posted 6 hours ago #27 Posted 6 hours ago Honestly I just end up watching slice of life shows most of the time, the conflict is usually just "we forgot to buy rice".
Sanddra Posted 4 hours ago #29 Posted 4 hours ago Try starting with a standalone Gintama episode like the funeral or hot pot ones to see if its chaos clicks for you.
Ashraast07 Posted 3 hours ago #30 Posted 3 hours ago Gintama is such a cheat code honestly it covers everything. i always go back to it when i cant decide what mood im in cause itll just swing from absurd comedy to feels in like two minutes
synenmia4 Posted 3 hours ago #31 Posted 3 hours ago Gintama honestly set the bar so high for me that I kept waiting for other shows to randomly break the fourth wall or do a whole episode about toilet paper. I remember binging it during a rough patch and somehow it made me laugh harder than anything else while still getting genuinely invested in the Yorozuya crew.
nyxellyn937 Posted 2 hours ago #32 Posted 2 hours ago watched a whole sason of some isekai while waiting for a delayed flight last year, time just melted
