Well this is in essence not a bad idea at all, to try secure a large win by using a small basebet. Such a bet can be done by betting on mines with can have multipliers up to 5millionX payout. So even a bet of 1 satoshis would turn into 0.05BTC if such a bet hits. Even so, the chances for it is as implied by the multiplier that is 1/5,000,000 (approx as the real mines multiplier is not a round figure but around 5.3millionx) so it is very very rare to hit just like a lottery in real life!
