williamshennie9 Posted October 18, 2018 #1 Posted October 18, 2018 Hey guys I would like to ask whether the Trivia bot should deduct the amount from the user's balance before the question is posted? There is an increasing number of users who use the trivia bot, and then do not pay out the winners in the chat. I think an easy way to solve this would be to deduct the amount from the user's balance before the question is posted. That way, we won't have fake trivia. Also there can be a timer of around 3 minutes, to "refund" the player if no one answers the trivia correctly. Is this something that can be looked at? I know it is not urgent or anything, just would be a handy feature to reduce the number of "skem" trivia that cause lots of spam in the Stake chat

lolipant Posted October 18, 2018 #3 Posted October 18, 2018 it should hold the amount when user create the trivia, and returned it if user cancel (but in case of cancel it should also have message tell everyone in chat), and make it so the user who create the trivia can do other thing while it is running (not have to just sit waiting for the corrected answer or play in another tab)
Babagucci Posted October 22, 2018 #4 Posted October 22, 2018 Great suggestion William, this is a much needed feature which would minimize abuse.
CrisAlbar Posted October 22, 2018 #5 Posted October 22, 2018 Is a good suggestion for don't cheater. 😉
TKO Posted October 25, 2018 #6 Posted October 25, 2018 Very nice idea. However, the bugs that we have recently experienced can cause people trouble. But once the bugs are sorted, I think this should be implemented 100%
David Posted October 25, 2018 #8 Posted October 25, 2018 Good suggestion, but you can't tip direct from trivia bot (idk if they changed it) right now if you have 2fa enabled
