Myxvi08 Posted July 9 #151 Posted July 9 Good luck to everyone applying, especially the ones who are clearly putting in the hours daily. Just hope they actually pick based on merit and not whatever that last comment was hinting at lol peejay 1
winesap6 Posted July 9 #152 Posted July 9 Good luck to everyone applying, just a heads-up to make sure your Chinese is actually native-level because they're checking that closely fr. peejay 1
kendallarver Posted July 10 #158 Posted July 10 Do you also need mods for other language slots soon? peejay 1
jax5fn2on3 Posted July 11 #165 Posted July 11 gl to everyone applying bro, hope they pick some real ones for cn chat fr ? ? peejay 1
Zylori Posted July 11 #166 Posted July 11 Honestly I think having mods who speak Chinese will make the sports chat during big CS matches so much smoother, half the time I'm watching the odds on maps and miss the bater entirely. Hope they pick someone who actually knows the games and not just the rulebook peejay 1
Hollowni Posted July 11 #167 Posted July 11 Nice, good luck everyone. Night shift souds pretty rough tbh. peejay 1

How much time on average do you spend on chat every day? Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Are you prepared to work at nighttime? You will be contacted through the Live Support chat if we choose you for this position Please note that all applicants who are determined not to be native Chinese speakers will be removed from the application process.
pyxus1 Posted July 11 #169 Posted July 11 Seeing some people say they spend 14+ hours in chat every day, I honestly think thats overkill. I'd rather have a mod who is active for a solid 6 to 8 hours but actually reads everything properly instead of just being idle for half the day. Quality over quantity right? peejay 1
havenon Posted July 11 #170 Posted July 11 If you're applying make sure your Live Support chat is set to English too, because they'll reach out there and if it's fully Chinese you might miss the message when the notification comes through. peejay 1
sophvar Posted July 11 #172 Posted July 11 Hey, I'm just curious about how many moderators you're looking for exactly? Seems like there's a ton of applicants already so competition must be tough. Also do you guys provide any training or is it more of a learn as you go situation? peejay 1
shreddra11 Posted July 11 #173 Posted July 11 Honestly watching the mods tame the chaos during big Limbo payout threads is underrated work, good luck everyone applying. peejay 1
