Good luck to everyone applying, especially the ones who are clearly putting in the hours daily. Just hope they actually pick based on merit and not whatever that last comment was hinting at lol

Honestly I think having mods who speak Chinese will make the sports chat during big CS matches so much smoother, half the time I'm watching the odds on maps and miss the bater entirely. Hope they pick someone who actually knows the games and not just the rulebook

Hello Stakers :)

We are looking for a few Chinese-speaking moderators, so if you are fluent in all dialects of this language and you are interested in this position, please answer the questions below:

  1. What is your Stake username?
  2. How much time on average do you spend on chat every day?
  3. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?
  4. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?
  5. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?
  6. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?
  7. Are you prepared to work at nighttime?

You will be contacted through the Live Support chat if we choose you for this position :)

Please note that all applicants who are determined not to be native Chinese speakers will be removed from the application process.

Seeing some people say they spend 14+ hours in chat every day, I honestly think thats overkill. I'd rather have a mod who is active for a solid 6 to 8 hours but actually reads everything properly instead of just being idle for half the day. Quality over quantity right?

If you're applying make sure your Live Support chat is set to English too, because they'll reach out there and if it's fully Chinese you might miss the message when the notification comes through.

Hey, I'm just curious about how many moderators you're looking for exactly? Seems like there's a ton of applicants already so competition must be tough. Also do you guys provide any training or is it more of a learn as you go situation?
