wngo123 Posted October 21, 2018 #1 Posted October 21, 2018 Be careful what you install on your computer. Of course we don't install apps we don't trust but there is new way to attack for hackers where they can use your computer for mining. It's a fake Adobe Flash updates that install malware software on your computer. So it's important not only be careful what new software you install, but also what updates you install. Always install updates from company website , never from unknown source or from links you don't trust. Go to the company website and install updates from there. source: https://cryptoslate.com/adobe-flash-being-used-for-cryptojacking/
williamshennie9 Posted October 21, 2018 #2 Posted October 21, 2018 Updates are super important for security. Not only Windows updates, but also application updates. Hackers are always looking for exploits, which the updates help to prevent.
Etude Posted October 22, 2018 #3 Posted October 22, 2018 This is definitely one of the most common way for exploiters to try to hijack users, as Adobe Flash is so commonly used and installed on all computers and devices!
