The horseshoe one is a nice touch, always thought those were a solid choice for a first piece. That Shiva + family sleeve sounds intense though, bet that took some hours.

I like how the OP made a point to mention the pain level part, cause honestly that’s the first thing I always ask people when I see a new tattoo. The pain scale stories are always the most entertaining, especially when someone goes in thinking it’s no big deal and ends up gripping the chair like crazy.
