Mute command suggestion

Hello everyone, GriffinReynolds here!

Today I want to share this idea with you guys, it’s about the mute command.

I know everyone when get’s muted sometimes moderators forget to write the reason and how many minutes a person is muted in the main chat that’s why I thought it would be a bit better and good for us if developers update the mute command by adding some new things like the reason why the player gets muted and a message for the players when they get muted.

Everytime a moderator mutes someone he should give the reason at the command and when the player get’s muted he receives a message for example like: “You are muted for X hours from X-Moderator, reason: begging/passive etc etc..” (the message shows up like rains, tips and private messages).

And in the main chat for example when Shinjo(moderator) mutes me for 3 hours and the reason is begging it appears “GriffinReynolds has been muted for 3 hours by Shinjo, reason: begging”.

It would be helpful for us too if we have an option like Tip Logs but for the mute logs so if a player is not online and when he joins the Stake he wouldn’t know the reason and how many hours he’s muted so he should ask the support but with the Mute Logs you can easily see when you were muted, what was the reason, how many hours you were muted and from which moderator you got muted.

Thanks for the time and consideration you gave to this topic, feel free to ask or give your opinions about this idea.

Yeah this is something that is needed in chat. ITs just rude and unfair to mute someone without communicating anything. And the worst part is mods dont get in trouble for it. They can do whatever they want.

Sorry for reposting this, that I already answered somewhere else =

If you use the /view username command, you can see the details of a user, including if he/she/it is muted, and until when.

And you can use the /view command on your own user, so the length of a mute is not a mistery anymore.

If you know the chat rules, you already know why you are muted.

Mods dont do "what they want", if you have doubts, you can ask for the chat log to see again what you did.

Yahh but is anything wrong to chat of Lovegamble29 ,, because that time have a trivia then after that im muted... did you think its not abusing his power being mod, i think mod think that im passive begging thats why he mute me in 30mins i think ,, but its not fair for that if you thinking that one player is passive begging if have a trivia!

Uhm not bothering to communicate and not bothering to understand and let the person explain themselves is doing what they want. To make a judgement like a dictator instead of a respectful moderator, picking and choosing who to favor and who to punish based off your feeling and emotions. Id say thats doing what you want, without giving the other person a chance? What does that sound like to you. Would you like to be treated in the same manner if you were the player and a mod muted you without explaining or warning. Imagine feeling confused and surprised because you weren't intentionally trying to break the rules. Would you feel like you were being treated like a human with a heart and brain? or more like a worthless piece of trash that can be thrown without explaining a word.
