williamshennie9 Posted November 27, 2018 #1 Posted November 27, 2018 Hey guys I have a few questions to ask in advance before the implementation of Stake 2.0. I'd like to know whether I should make backups of my PM's (since the last major update deleted all of my PM's), and also, whether I should backup anything else eg. my tiplog, my deposit/withdraw history etc. The last update left my users worried due to their PM's getting lost/deleted. I would like it if Stake could warn users before the update which data could get deleted or lost. Looking forward to hear what the developers have to say PS I know we should all be making backups regularly, but many users don't do this, so I think a warning about possible data deletion will be handy.
Snike Posted November 27, 2018 #2 Posted November 27, 2018 Not sure if I missed something but whats Stake 2.0? Did they announce anything?

Yes, they announced it on Twitter, and Eddie is posting screenshots of the new Stake 2.0 in the Stake development section of the forum
Kate Posted November 27, 2018 #4 Posted November 27, 2018 Oh yeah that could be a good thing for Stake to do. Since most of is suffered a lot last time when they disabled PM in Stake and they took a long time for bringing it back.
williamshennie9 Posted November 29, 2018 Author #5 Posted November 29, 2018 @Dan @Edward @Steve Do one you you perhaps know if any data will be deleted, and if any will be, which data users should manually back up? (when Stake 2.0 is implemented)
Administrator Edward Posted November 29, 2018 Administrator #6 Posted November 29, 2018 This update is purely graphical. Whilst it is not only a redesign but an overhaul of our FE code we will not be altering any back end code or touching our current databases. You will not lose any information. If anything changes we'll be sure to let you know in advance this time around.
