When the FUN stops STOP

I personally am a greedy person and I believe that nearly everyone is. It's humans nature but as a gambling addict I strongly recommend my friends not to start gambling even for the fun.

I'm thinking about controlling it , since it's ruining everything.

Hello. Didnt expect this post to get this many answers but Im happy it did. So I kinda tried to come with a solution for our greedyness.

My best advice is every tip/deposit you make put 90% of it in vault and with the 10% just gamble it.

Do this for like 2,3 days and see how much you make

I will try to do this since I lost way too much maybe it works.

If you really feel like betting you can make an exception to get a bit from vault or something or keep 20% for you to gamble and only 80% to vault but only when you really feel like betting.

Like this we feed our addiction and greedyness and still have some money left for hard days.

Just forget about this vault money and just keep it there and let it grow up ;)

Incredibly, the feeling that this story is about me. As always, everything starts with a fairly small bet, I play ... It's time when I'm just having fun getting 100x from the starting amount. And now, this kind of fun grows into something obscure, screaming: "Take it!" And so in a few minutes you can lose everything that has been copied for several weeks. I usually have a feeling of some kind of emptiness that breaks me. It's unpleasant, so lover players, when they got a certain profit, stop! Breathe in with fresh air, and then your thoughts will be in a better condition. You have to make a choice in your favor, not excitement. Good luck to everyone, but enjoy the game at Stake.

Sometimes it can get pretty difficult to differentiate when does the fun actually stops when you are in a trancelike state while gambling especially when having a ongoing lucky streak, typically one only awaken to the gravity of the situation when all is lost most of the time. 😔

Hello, it is a fact that just as some people can become addicted to drugs or alcohol, it is possible for a person to become obsessed with an uncontrollable urge to gamble. For the problem gambler, making a bet is not just about having fun or winning money. Gambling becomes an emotional response to change the way they feel. Some problem gamblers may gamble to relieve boredom or avoid feelings of anxiousness or stress. Others may gamble to ‘numb out’ when feeling helpless, guilty, or depressed. As they continue to gamble, they become more and more emotionally and mentally dependent on gambling, with less and less control. The impact of this addiction is much greater than the obvious financial losses that can result from repeated gambling. The long-term result is a steady deterioration of the mental and physical health of both the gambler and their family.

Surprisingly, problem gamblers are often the last ones to realize what is happening to them in spite of mounting negative consequences and increasing emotional impact. They may attribute their difficulties to a mere financial problem or believe they are just not being ‘smart’ enough when they gamble. The fantasy that one more big win will solve the financial problems and return everything to normal drives them on to gamble even harder.

Man, If I stopped and withdrew after I started experiencing loss every time. I'd be making bank, like always I get greedy and end up with nothing at all. Some money is better than none at all, too many times where i'm sitting on hundreds on dollars and end up losing my profit and my deposit.

Maybe try to find and start doing other things that actually brings real fun and happiness to you then instead of gambling. :)

Ya thats crazy bro. But i have seen you hit big on all ins, but ya the fun must end at some point in time. Cant win em all. Or any at all hahaha. Ive never hit green when i all in. I dont know why, but everytime i thought it was a good idea to all in, it always turns red and just ends it sad sad dissapointment. To build a balance for hours/days to lose it all in one bet, sucks in more ways than one, But i guess thats why some peeps gamble, go big or go home. Most go home.. hahaha..

Gambling small , having fun and knowing when to stop will only achieve profit!

I think it's very important to know what you want to get out of the experience. Like many say it is like paying for entertainment, and you can fully choose how much you put in. Unlike most forms of entertainment, you have the chance for huge (and very exciting) wins - and I think this is another reason why people play, for the chance at those huge wins that come along ever so rarely, but often enough to see them semi-regularly. But I think the key here is to know why YOU play and to focus on that. Following on from this point..

This coupled with a win target means you can never lose at a casino, ever.  By setting a win target you stop when you are still having fun and financially ahead, you can now go do something fun with your winnings.

So if you can do those two things you'll never lose.

I'd just like to point out that it's possible to never hit your win target, especially if you set a crazy one like 20X! At least not on a single deposit, of course you can keep depositing until you do. I think a win target is a great idea. But I think you should have a contingency plan in case you don't hit it! If you can have a good time AND hit your win target, I think you're doing just wonderfully - you had entertainment AND can come back another time ;)
