Kate Posted December 5, 2018 #1 Posted December 5, 2018 We all love our site Stake and we have lots of fun because come on face it the staff is friendly , support is great and good looking and the moderators are also strict enough and also playful. When we play the game we want in Stake and make a certain amount of bet which could be for example : 0.001 BTC and if we win the game we get a certain amount of Bitcoin or any of the coin you bet as a profit back and sometimes or mostly if we have bad luck and loose the bet our balance is gone which means we busted that amount. Now when we loose where does our balance go to ? I was thinking maybe it went to Edward's account ? Because one of the streams he had a balance of 15 BTC so i thought our busted balance goes and comes from there or maybe there is an account with all the balance going there and the profits are also credited from that account to our account. What do you guys think ? Where does the busted balance go and where does the profit come from ?
Mahdirakib87 Posted December 5, 2018 #2 Posted December 5, 2018 I don't think like that. And that's might be not the real thing you saying. The balance we lose goes to the site bankroll and the profit we get comes from the bankroll maybe. I'm not sure. But I'm quite sure that bust and profit balance don't goes to any account or come from it. If they make visible the site stats you can see that every second it's changing. Site profit going up and down as every bet placing by users. Mostly gambling site stay overall profited for the house edge. I don't think there is any connection with account and site profit.

Or it just disperses, aka the database updates the balance to 0
JoshuaThePsycho Posted December 5, 2018 #4 Posted December 5, 2018 It actually depends on the website, as an example, the casino I used to work for had an administrator privilege that some specific users had. The total amount of the website's profit was written in the admin panel and for the casino games except poker, there was a separate username called Casino. When a player lost his money, the lost amount was added to the Casino user. Not sure if what I explained was clear or not lol might sound a little confusing.

Thanks Well why 10% to support though ? I guess he tips them everyweek for the giveaway payouts and maybe for tipping mods to give rains and trivias.
williamshennie9 Posted December 5, 2018 #6 Posted December 5, 2018 I would think that Stake has an account which holds all the coins (i.e. the "pool" of real bitcoins). I think the balances on our accounts are just a visual balance, and when you deposit, it is added to this "pool", and when you withdraw, it is taken from the "pool", and just visually deducted from your Stake account balance. Just my thoughts on how it is done PS The funds won't be stored in Eddie's account. The maximum profit is 10BTC, so Stake must have at least 1,000 BTC's in this "pool" to facilitate all withdrawals

Good thinking tho .
Etude Posted December 5, 2018 #8 Posted December 5, 2018 Most probably it goes to a "Site Bankroll Profit" portion of the website. The balance shown on players might just be a corresponding signal in order to process the withdrawal amount from hotwallet.
Administrator Edward Posted December 5, 2018 Administrator #9 Posted December 5, 2018 When you receive rain from the rain-bot that is a debit on our accounting. When (Or if) you lose that rain back to us it's a credit. There's a lot of other actions which will create credits or debits on our accounts but at the end of the day, just like with any decent accounting system, everything always adds up to zero. As cool as having an account for all lost money sounds, it's more just a statistic/graph lol
kolloh Posted December 5, 2018 #10 Posted December 5, 2018 Where does it come from, where does it go? Where does it come from, Cotton-Eye Stake. But yeah, storing lost balance in an account wouldn't be the safest option either. Its just credits or debits against their bankroll.
BLXN Posted December 6, 2018 #11 Posted December 6, 2018 it feeds Gary, i thought everyone knew that ?__?
