The issue manifests itself as a reward to participants who have provided the power of their personal computers for the functioning of the algorithm calculations (mining)
A revolutionary feature of such a system is the ability to exclude unauthorized infusion of cryptocurrency.  In other words, no one can just print a certain amount of bitcoins for themselves because of the impossibility of this action.  It is also unrealistic to write a program that will replenish the wallet balance, as the system monitors all transactions carried out and takes them into account.  Also a bright advantage of the system is that it has a decentralized nature, which means it is more resistant to external shocks.

Due to the fact that cryptocurrency is an emerging market, due to the changes it imposes on the financial system, the market is still volatile.  In combination with many of the above factors, the price of a digital currency can rise and fall quickly, making it a risky investment without proper research.  However, the advantages make it suitable for making payments, as well as investing, which was one of the initial intentions of bitcoin.

simpl it has a value cuz people want to buy it
if no1 wants it it would have a fake value lol
everything is bs :D

That is very true.

It only has a value because there’s some level of demand for it.

If demand did not exist, then Bitcoin (or any other matter) would not be worth anything at all.

Where does the value of bitcoin come from?  It's just that people want it.  Cryptocurrency just finds its value, like other things.  For example, gold is considered valuable because it is rare.  In addition, it is very durable and easy to transport.  Why not make gold items a collectible.  The more people want to have such a noble metal, the more valuable it becomes.  The same goes for bitcoin.  The more people want to become owners of coins, the more expensive they become.

But unlike noble metals, bitcoins do not have any material manifestation.  Despite this, there is an increasing number of people who want to take control of cryptocurrency.

Many experts claim that bitcoin has excellent growth trends.  And a large number of companies that make it easy to buy and sell bitcoins allow an increasing number of people to appreciate the advantages of this system.  Thanks to this, the currency becomes more valuable, because every year the number of companies accepting virtual payments increases.

Bitcoin cannot be exchanged for goods as easily as gold or dollars.  The value of this cryptocurrency is determined by other factors:

Popularity.  In short, people buy and sell Bitcoins because the rest do.  It may seem strange, but that is how the economy works.  If there is demand, there will be an offer.  Even if the real value is doubtful.  In economic terms, Bitcoin has good liquidity.

Bitcoin is decentralized and limited in the maximum amount.  These are very important factors for many users.  Bitcoins are not subject to state taxes and are not regulated by the authorities in any way.  And due to the fact that bitcoins cannot be released endlessly, they are not subject to inflation.

Today, Bitcoins are a unique investment tool.  However, do not consider cryptocurrencies as long-term investments.
