Stake game classification

Hi guys. We have a decent range of games here and we expect two more soon (one of them is poker and the other one is unknown). I made up these 3 game classes depending on how a player affects the game outcome.

1. Games where a player has a passive role, you just watch and wait for the outcome - Plinko, Wheels and Diamond Poker. Your strategy is based only on money management.

2. Games with limited player involvement - HiLo and Chartbet. These are different from Class 1 in that you may finish a round by your own decision. Again your strategy is based on money management plus timely cashout.

3. Games with active player involvement - the other 6 games of BlackJack, Mines, Roulette, Keno, Baccarat and Dice. He you can draw cards, choose sides, chances, cells, numbers etc. Therefore this Class is different from the other two by the variety of strategies that could be applied.

What do you think of this Classification? Please share your thoughts :)

i think hi lo and mines should be a whole catagory of its own, as the multipliers which are possible to reach go up to the millions, if not infinity (for hilo)

the player can play endlessly essentially...

plinko and diamond poker should be together cause no player involvement after the bet is involved and only 1 kind of bet... bacarat is not in here casue you can choose what kind of bet... not forced to do one bet only... as plinko and the diamond poker are...

if any of that contributes... i hope.. is my 2 cents for ya

I have to disagree with a few.

Chartbet and Hilo are definitely Active involvement. Well Hilo more so than chartbet. You decide the way the cards should go on Hilo. With chartbet, while you can set it to cash out automatically, you, if nothing else, have to click start each round.

As for Mines, Keno, And dice. Depending on whether or not you use the auto-function they could be placed in Limited and Active involvement. Section one is correct.

But like someone else said earlier, They're all games of risk. :)

Good luck!

Hi mate, very apreciate this thread you write... I will only conclude on 2 types of games are

1. Games with passive player involvement -Dice, Mines, Plinko, Wheel, Roullete, Diamond  poker and Keno

2. Games with active player involvement - BlackJack, Hilo, Chartbet and Baccarat

basically  i conclude that if there use automatic betting or not. Games that do not use automatic betting make you have to click every time you bet (active) likewise the opposite.

Since this hasn't been announced, I'm sure Stake will classify the games, or group them accordingly. Remember, Stake has, or rather will have 15 games. I don't think it will be hard to navigate your way through the games. If Stake had 50+ games, then I would say there would be a need to classify the games.

The incoming new teased game is not exactly the original table game of  Poker but actually Video Poker which is far more similar to Slots in essence.

I don't really understand the point of the classification of the games .  To me its all just classified as gambling.  The effort you put into your thoughts of organization is kinda interesting i'll give you that but there all the same to me . Good luck and happy Holiday.
