Aerena09 Posted April 29 #1 Posted April 29 Have you ever posted a topic and felt like nobody "got it"? Maybe people even laughed. π Don't let that stop you. The cycle of innovation is always the same: First they laugh, then they copy. π If you are being mocked today, itβs only because youβre doing something others aren't brave enough to try yet. Never give up, because the world doesn't need more copies, it needs the original you. π π‘ Why this works: π£οΈ Alliteration: "Ridicule" and "Replica" make the title catchy and "sticky." π₯ Contrast: Pairing a negative (Ridicule) with a win (Replica) creates a fast story. πͺ The Hook: "First they laugh, then they copy" immediately grabs interest. Don't be afraid to post your "weird" idea today. It might be tomorrow's trend! β¨ KaiZidan, waqas666 and spaceoddtiddy 3

Moderator StefanTl Posted May 1 Moderator #4 Posted May 1 I find this topic very enjoyable. To me, it's both a test and a learning experience. Some topics may not receive much attention initially, while others can become quite popular. The more you post, the better your chances of discovering a standout topic. In summary, both quality and quantity contribute to success. I wanted to acknowledge you as one of the most active users in the community. I really appreciate that! Keep going, you have some great topics. KaiZidan and Aerena09 1 1

spaceoddtiddy Posted May 3 #6 Posted May 3 I do have ideas, I just prefer contributing through interaction instead of starting topics. I learn more from direct conversations than big threads, that just feels more natural to me. Maybe that makes me less of a contributing member, but Iβm not here to impress people. Iβm mindful of where I put my energy, and Iβd rather save that kind of creative energy for my Instagram. I donβt really like the pressure of likes, attention or visibility here. Iβd rather just engage in my own way and keep it simple. I can help people get to those topics or shape ideas, I just donβt want to be in the center of it. Itβs just not my thing. That said, I do appreciate the people like you who do start topics. It takes something to put ideas out there and make people stop and think like βhmm, let me think about that.β Those moments matter, even if I choose to engage differently. So keep being you and don't let anyone who is insecure and jealous bring you down. People love to hate for no reason when you're doing something you enjoy. TL;DR: Iβll contribute, just donβt put a spotlight on me. I love authentic interaction over validation of likes or attention. Individual attention? Yes, but Public attention? Nope.Β Aerena09 and KaiZidan 1 1

vaelix Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM #9 Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM Honestly needed to hear this today, posted something in another section and got crickets lol. But youβre right, if theyβre not laughing theyβre not paying attention yet.
nalorori Posted Thursday at 06:50 PM #10 Posted Thursday at 06:50 PM This hits different when you've actually put something out there and got roasted for it. The copycats showing up later is honestly the weirdest form of validation lol
Vexlia Posted Thursday at 08:14 PM #11 Posted Thursday at 08:14 PM That weirdest form of validation line is so real lol. Nothing stings quite like getting roasted, but then seeing those same people quietly do your thing a month later.
Ravenni Posted Thursday at 08:28 PM #12 Posted Thursday at 08:28 PM yep that weirdest form of validation line is so real lol. Nothing stings quite like getting roasted, but then seeing those same people quietly do your thing a month later.
Wickique Posted Thursday at 08:39 PM #13 Posted Thursday at 08:39 PM That weirdest form of validation bit hit me ngl. Getting roasted first and then seeing the same people quietly adopt your idea later is such a strange flex lol.
Larsin Posted Thursday at 08:59 PM #14 Posted Thursday at 08:59 PM That weird validation when the haters become your silent subscribers is honestly the best fuel to keep going tbh
onyxarium Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM #15 Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM Tbh the weirdest part is when they copy it but still try to act like they never clowned you in the first place lol
Lortos Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM #16 Posted Thursday at 09:18 PM Honestly, that "first they laugh, then they copy" line is so true it almost hurts. The silent copycats are way weirder than the loud critics tbh.
loron Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM #17 Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM The silent copycats are legit the weirdest validation ever, like at least give a nod to the original before you run with it π
gauzelike0 Posted Friday at 10:06 AM #19 Posted Friday at 10:06 AM The word "Replica" in the title cuts deep tbh
thoxurus Posted Friday at 10:14 AM #20 Posted Friday at 10:14 AM I posted a silly concept for a game mode once, got three laugh reacts immediately, then saw a polished version from a bigger streamer a month later.
lilyirin Posted Friday at 10:23 AM #21 Posted Friday at 10:23 AM Not every idea is secretly genius tho, some just flop and thatβs fine too.
cattyreact Posted Saturday at 02:36 AM #22 Posted Saturday at 02:36 AM yeah bro they laugh now then copy later, thats how it always goes ngl ?
tycna5 Posted Saturday at 07:27 AM #23 Posted Saturday at 07:27 AM Honestly copying a flop still makes it a fllop lol
kaiegi8bqf Posted Saturday at 07:36 AM #24 Posted Saturday at 07:36 AM lol fr bro, sometimes you just gotta keep pushing and ppl will come around eventually ?
emberesse487 Posted Saturday at 07:44 AM #25 Posted Saturday at 07:44 AM Mosty the original ones just end up as templates for someone elseβs profit.
