This is life, you can always make a mistake. Moral - carefully check what you are sending. I usually try to be fair) I saw it myself when they sent back too large a tip, so sometimes they got a bonus for honesty) Be kind. It is not 1  mill dollars.

yeah i do this sometimes for second think f×*k but then just let it go because they happy when they win, and dont wanna take their happiness back i did trivia mistake like this, once. also someone tipped me like 500k instead of 50k and they said it was mistake i told them i spent it yolo roullete already in chat,  but gave it back,  just joke.  once i sent too much to bmg and ask half back of extra and say we split it, bmg sent straight back :) nice if you make mistake with nice people who dont run away :)

Yes I have (I think 50k instead of 5k satoshis). But I don't think anyone has suffered such mistake more than Eddie himself! He once tipped a user 1 (I repeat, ONE) whole bitcoin by accident!

So far. i never had a wrong tip before  :D

i always check the nominal when i want to sent tip, especially when i want to tips a big amount

but lesson learned here, we should double check when we want to tips anyone

I'm sure it has happened to almost everyone at some point.  I have been on both sides of it a couple times, one time I never received the mistake back.  Live and learn I guess...

This mistake is quite common. Simply because there is no dialog box saying "are you sure you want to tip 0.xxxx amount?" If there are any, at least we can check if we placed the correct numbers because just placing zeros on front is sometimes confusing and makes us input a wrong value.

I didn't experience it, but its funny haha. Sometimes our can be trick by the ammount of zero in bitcoin, I am just hoping that they return the extra tip ammount

Yeah and i wish i could hurt them but i quickly got over it. In the end its my fault, and if i were them id prolly keep it too if the person was a stranger.

There was this one person though in duckdice who had .1 in his balance (bitcoin). The site was suffering very bad lag and he must have pressed to rain a couple times or it glitched. However it happened, he unintentionally ended up raining his entire balance to the chatroom. I had recieved like 540k bitcoin, i remember betting on the telegram app on my phone and just seeing this appear. I go to my browser to see what happened and see people asking others in chat to return the coins. Like nobody returned anything, i think there was like 2 or 4 but not many at all. but the dude took it better then i expected. I was impressed.

Luckily, it hasn't happened to me... yet (and hopefully won't)

I know with any tips I give out I'll probably never see anything back from the users I tip so I always try to double check the amount or just use the min tip button.

yeah but it can be the easiest to do when hosting trivias or rollhunts or things like that. When excitement and emotions are at their highest.

Honestly i feel like it should be the casinos duty to have a double check to force players to do a second review on tips. i mean anything that deals with our money should be taken seriously right? even tips, there should be a double check when its money being moved.

ummmm make the lesson. do not be too hasty in taking action especially those concerned with money. I have experienced it but not from the nominal.its  from the username i am writed wrong xD and lost 0.005 btc :)

I was wrong but also I should have 0.001 eth osi instead I sent him 0.01. I explained the tip for him :D  sometimes I also mistaken the letters in writing names to tip the result the balance is forfeited

hello friends its a accident and should be happened to any body in any time hope its a good suggestion to add a warning for final attention before sending tip.

yeah not a bad idea, but maybe it can be an optional setting, that users can turn on and off for it to ask the user or not ask

I've been through this kind of situation already. Once I sent 100k etoshi to a friend of mine, but it was not for him that I intended to send, I just said in the chat "sent by mistake" and he was not my friend at the time, he gave me back the money and then we became friends.

After that, I actually stopped to pay more attention to things, especially by working with money.

Has anyone ever sent someone a tip and oops realized they forgot to add a zero and now they have sent 300k satoshi instead of the planned 30k ?

I have two experiences with this.    The first time I sent ... well ... it has been two months and I still haven’t heard from the person !!!   They are online all the time but never respond to me.   My mistake ...

speaking of mistakes ... the second time was to my dear friend Mistake who sent me back almost immediately without question or hesitation.

So so I am curious if anyone has any experience with sending too much ....

I have often happened like that but fortunately I sent my friend so the excess is returned again
