wrenvi5 Posted Thursday at 05:46 PM #4 Posted Thursday at 05:46 PM Phil Ivey no debate fr, dude's a straight up monster at the table.
Zexenne Posted Thursday at 07:57 PM #5 Posted Thursday at 07:57 PM Phil Ivey is the goat fr, nobody else even comes close when it comes to reading people and making those insane calls.
legacyna Posted Thursday at 08:19 PM #6 Posted Thursday at 08:19 PM Phil Ivey is the obvious pick but honestly Negreanu's table talk and reads are next level too, dude can sniff out a bluff from across the room
sandin Posted Thursday at 08:50 PM #7 Posted Thursday at 08:50 PM Phil Ivey is the safe answer but I gotta go with Negreanu, the way he calls out exact hands is just ridiculous.
onyxvi333 Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM #8 Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM Phil Ivey's the legend but gotta say Negreanu’s ability to literally name your cards before you flip them is wild
cloton Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM #9 Posted Thursday at 09:11 PM Phil Ivey's the obvious GOAT but honestly, I feel like Negreanu's ability to call out exact hands is just on another level.
Nasiliyee64 Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM #10 Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM Ivey's the goat for raw skill but tbh Dnegs calling out hands like he's psychic is just more fun to watch lol
kim33oo8d Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM #11 Posted yesterday at 01:29 AM ngl Ivey's pure skill is unmatched but gotta shoutout Negreanu's vibes at the table too, man knows how to psych ppl out ?
Sydneyioax Posted yesterday at 10:22 AM #12 Posted yesterday at 10:22 AM Watched Ivey fold kins preflop once, unreal read.
Sophirelle891 Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM #13 Posted yesterday at 01:12 PM cash games or tourneys tho?
vycayver Posted yesterday at 04:37 PM #14 Posted yesterday at 04:37 PM Ivey once tanked for like five minutes against a massive bluff from Tom Dwan and somehow found the call with just bottom pair, no idea how he does it.
Vynwyn Posted 9 hours ago #15 Posted 9 hours ago Honestly I lean towards Phil Ivey just cause his cold reads in high stakes cash games are something else, like that hand against Dwan where he sniffed out a bluff with almost nothing was insane. But if we're talking tournament voume and adapting over decades you can't really ignore Hellmuth's bracelet count even if his table manners tilt me sometimes.
tycenne Posted 8 hours ago #16 Posted 8 hours ago I get why people say Ivey but tbh his edge was bigger in the old Full Tillt days, now the field caught up a bit.
steinayxen Posted 7 hours ago #17 Posted 7 hours ago Are you thinking live readds or online crushers when you say best?
Tycirki93 Posted 6 hours ago #18 Posted 6 hours ago Phil Ivey all day. The way he sniffed out that Dwan bluff wasnt even luck it was pure feel for the game. Imagine what the odds were on him making that call.
Merien762 Posted 5 hours ago #19 Posted 5 hours ago Ivey has the legacy but honestly I watch Linus play online and the math just feels unbeatable now
Shredki Posted 5 hours ago #20 Posted 5 hours ago I remmeber watching Negreanu read some guy's hand out loud perfectly on a stream once, straight up calling his exact cards before the flop even came. It felt less like poker and more like a magic trick.
sylynxen Posted 23 minutes ago #22 Posted 23 minutes ago Ivey's Hendon Mob stats alone are wild but I think right now the sickest heads up grinders online are putting in way more volume so the real money skill gap shows different. For the best of all time it's always Ivey though, guy read souls.
