Honestly I lean towards Phil Ivey just cause his cold reads in high stakes cash games are something else, like that hand against Dwan where he sniffed out a bluff with almost nothing was insane. But if we're talking tournament voume and adapting over decades you can't really ignore Hellmuth's bracelet count even if his table manners tilt me sometimes.

I remmeber watching Negreanu read some guy's hand out loud perfectly on a stream once, straight up calling his exact cards before the flop even came. It felt less like poker and more like a magic trick.

Ivey's Hendon Mob stats alone are wild but I think right now the sickest heads up grinders online are putting in way more volume so the real money skill gap shows different. For the best of all time it's always Ivey though, guy read souls.

Depends if you mean live reads or GTO solvers basically, it’s like two different games now. Ivey had the instinct but the online guys like Linus just don’t make exploitable mistakes in the same way.
