polor12 Posted January 8, 2019 #1 Posted January 8, 2019 I know im not the only one that's noticing that some topics are pretty much the same just worded differently.. i did reply to some topics that was literally the same and posted hours apart from different players.. i know staff monitors all topics that's posted but would it be easier for a topic to have a time limit...or have a quota to be reached to keep that topic open...number of replies not views for a week.. if those replies meet the requirements it will stay open for another week, if not it gets closed..it would help out i think..it would help players to put more thought in creating a topic to talk about instead of copying from another player..
Shaniqua Posted January 8, 2019 #2 Posted January 8, 2019 ya think?! most of the topics being made go back to like a year ago too. . . its a weird situation, cause ive seen posts that are pretty much plagiarized if you ask me... versions of other peoples posts.. yet the plagerized one gets more attention cause its made by a more known user or smtin.... that kinda shet happens all day... ive linked a few times the topics that i thought very closly looked like eachother or even copy cats... i figure if mods end up commenting on the topic at hand then they must be aware of it so no point to even bother doing anything else.. just a headache... i bet you even this topic will be "lost" or no one gonna comment on it... people hate going against the grain... saying something bad about the system.. in fear of being pushed out or becoming an outcast... speak your minds people... dont be a poop tart under the rug ! come out its okay! we wont bite... trust me...
williamshennie9 Posted January 8, 2019 #3 Posted January 8, 2019 I suggest you use the "Report Post" feature if you see any duplicated, or topics posted in the wrong section. It makes the admin/support's lives much easier when they have a list of stuff to fix, instead of manually going through the forum and searching for plagiarized content
polor12 Posted January 8, 2019 Author #4 Posted January 8, 2019 Even some post would get reported.. there still a good chance it would happen again...but by a different player..with the time limit also can help out the player getting paid for their post..for example 0 sat to start off..each reply that player gets 50 sat..within the whole week only 20 replies..500 sats..but it requires 25 replies to remain open..so it gets closed..as long it meets the weekly requirement it stays open.. this would also help out with the staff..because the player knows he/she getting paid..they would make sure theres no copy cats around and would report those who plagiarized.

Sometimes the search function doesn’t spit out the right thing, you know? I‘m aware that a lot of people open topics that already been posted and some just farm the Forum Rewards. As @williamshennie9 already mentioned. If you see something (doesn’t matter if a mod commented or not) and you think it shouldn’t be there, just report it and give a quick comment. Best would be if you have the link to the topic earlier made.

KiXxnTRiXx Posted January 8, 2019 #8 Posted January 8, 2019 The mods do their best to filter duplicate topics but since there are lots of threads being created every 24 hours, they simply are not able to go through all of them, but it has and is being done when caught. But there will be those that we ourselves find as duplicates as we skim through the pages, mods dont have time to do that every day on every hour as they also have other priorities that needs their attention. But ya i do agree, ive seen one player create multiple threads about "gambling" addiction by asking a different question in each thread to make it seem like its different. All within the same day too. lol.. smh
polor12 Posted January 9, 2019 Author #9 Posted January 9, 2019 @KiXxnTRiXx i agree like i agree with @CaptainLorca about staff have a hard job.. and also agree that ourselves to report those that staff might have miss.. what i suggested about the time limit is like another motivation is sort of way.. when i mention about a players topic will keep generating satoshi as long it meets its weekly quota in the amount of comments that topic receives.. that player will make sure no other player would post anything that related to their content..they will have to provide the link to that topic.just saying it won't cut it..let me put it this way..dont fuck with other peoples money..metallica vs napster that analogy should say it all..
