Funny how people still cling to that 8 Ballon d'Or number like it's the only metric, when honestly the most impresive part is him doing it at the top level for 20 years straight without any major drop off.

Funny thing is, some of the balloon dor that were won by Messi weren't meant to be his, yes he absolutely deserves some of the ones he won, but by Merit of accomplishments for some seasons where shnaider was a beast for Netherlands, lewandowski kept scoring and creating assit's he also still won the Champions league yet nothing, same thing for shnaider he won the champions League with inter Milan, got to the final in the world cup, he also still won the serie a, he didn't get the super cup in 2009, got it tho with inter Milan in 2010, the coppa Italia cup tho he won it, when inter defeated Roma, what did Messi accomplish that year? Barcelona got to the semi finals, Barcelona were eliminated from Copa de rey round of 16, he did win the super up for Barcelona. He got the la liga, Argentina got eliminated in the quarter finals by Germay who won them 4:0, can't recall all the years but without a doubt, some players didn't get the joy of winning the balloon dor cause of Messi, no hates in saying this but according to the Messi fan boys/girls what were the stats that made him worthy of the balloon dor in those years, some talented players were robbed, I'm waiting on the statistics you'll bring, cause the best I'll hear is, he's the goat he deserved it, uhm no, some of the balloon dors he didn't deserve. Messi is definitely the greatest player to live asides Diego Maradona. FIFA just made it seem like hard work shouldn't be rewarded. Without a doubt there were alot of good players who retired early cause after the hours spent in a season to play and prove their genius, their efforts weren't recognised. NGL shit is frustrating, they simply just moved on Like life. Respect to their efforts tho. 💯💯

I totally get where you're coming from! Messi's achievements are insane, and that World Cup win really solidified his legacy. It's tough to compare all the greats, but he definitely has a compelling case as the GOAT!

Tough call! I’d lean towards the one who changed the game more, but it really depends on what aspect you value most—statistics, influence, or just their overall presence in the sport.
