wilberthh Posted October 23, 2017 #21 Posted October 23, 2017 Just now, HappyBitcoin said: Yeah for the first 5 seconds Rumours said the prize of btg will be 10 times lower than btc (1:10)
HappyBitcoin Posted October 23, 2017 #22 Posted October 23, 2017 1 hour ago, Han2x said: Check that i don't really get it. Stated that 1BTC = 1BTG. Aww. That's not the price. That's just explaining the ratio of how it'l be forked.. Which is a 1:1 as we all know. If I have 1.2 btc when the forks happens I'll also have 1.2bitcoingold. Think price is determined by exchanges, etc etc. Professional trader @Dan might know
Dan Posted October 23, 2017 #23 Posted October 23, 2017 You get equal parts BTG to your BTC as long as you hold it in a wallet where you have the private key. I don't think any exchanges are supporting it, at least not that I know of.
Kargai Posted October 23, 2017 #24 Posted October 23, 2017 Same as with Bitcoin Cash, 1 btc was = 1 bch/bcc. I guess the exchanges who had supported Bitcoin Cash have learn something about it : the coin fall down rapidly. And it was the 1st fork, the one nobody could predict what will happen to BTC with a second coin. Now people know that BTC isn't impacted by that and the new coin crash fast, except for traders movements. I don't see lot of new "bitcoin-childs" coins added at large scale in the future, except if the new one is really disruptive.
Stalkerjex Posted October 24, 2017 #25 Posted October 24, 2017 hardfork is like that of august payment in btc is off for 1-2 day i think
