ayontop Posted Tuesday at 05:45 PM #1 Posted Tuesday at 05:45 PM One thing poker has taught me is that patience can be just as important as having good cards. Folding at the right time has saved me more chips than chasing risky hands. The more I play, the more I realise that every decision matters. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement and play too many hands, but staying disciplined usually leads to better results in the long run. Sometimes the smartest move is simply waiting for the right opportunity instead of forcing the action. I’ve also learned that every table is different. Some players are aggressive, while others prefer to take their time. Paying attention to how people play can be just as valuable as looking at the cards in your own hand. Reading the table and adapting your strategy has helped me improve more than anything else. Of course, poker has its ups and downs. There are days when the cards don’t go your way, but that’s part of the game. I try to focus on making good decisions rather than worrying about the outcome of a single hand. Over time, consistency matters much more than one lucky moment. Every session is another opportunity to learn, improve, and enjoy the game. Best of luck to everyone at the tables, and may your next big hand come at just the right time! ♠️🍀
luxelle Posted 16 hours ago #4 Posted 16 hours ago Facts bro, folding is honestly harder than making big bets sometimes. Discipline really separates the long-term winners from the gamblers.
Pyxique4 Posted 15 hours ago #5 Posted 15 hours ago Real talk bro, folding at the right time is a superpower most people don't have. Patience pays off way more than chasing every hand fr.

cloteon Posted 13 hours ago #7 Posted 13 hours ago folding is a legit skill tbh, takes more nerve than calling a big bluff half the time
Tyxyth Posted 12 hours ago #8 Posted 12 hours ago Folding is an underrated skill tbh, feels way harder than it looks when you're in the moment. Spotting those aggressive players early and just waiting them out has saved my stack more times than I can count.
FOhalIY6 Posted 3 hours ago #10 Posted 3 hours ago ngl folding a strong hand preflop hurts but it saves so much in the long ?
