Honestly the hardest lesson I had to learn in Hold'em was ditching mid pocket pairs early when the board gets wet, used to call down way too much with those

folded KQs preflop yesterday felt so wrong but was right

gonna try that short stack shove strat in the next turbo tourney, the fold equity feels massive right now

I find folding tohse suited broadways preflop way harder than letting go of mid pairs on a scary board. At least with the pair you can see the flop cheap and then dip if it misses, but dumping KQs just feels like I’m leaving money on the table.

Reading that Omaha flush story hurt. It's so easy to convince yourself they're always bluffing when you've got a set but the boarrd is screaming at you to let go.

tilt punting with ace rag is so painfully relatable esp after losing a monster pot in omaha. feels like you just wanna get it back in one hand even when the math says its lighting money on fire lol
