Hey Stake Community,

I want to open a dedicated discussion thread on Stake Poker. Whether you are playing casual cash games, grinding tournaments, or trying out the different variations available on the platform, I would love to hear your experiences.

Let's discuss a few key points:

The Competition: How do you find the player pool? Are the tables generally softer compared to traditional poker networks, or are you running into tough competition?

Rake & Rewards: What are your thoughts on the rake structure and how poker gameplay contributes to your overall VIP progress and rakeback?

Software & UI: How is the overall performance for you? Do you find the multi-tabling interface smooth, or are there specific features you think the developers should add?

Drop your favorite poker variants, your biggest tournament cashes, or any bankroll management tips you have for grinding on Stake. Let's talk strategy!

Tbh, the player pool is softer than most dedicated poker sites I've tried, but the rake feels a bit steep unless you're grinding enough to hit decent VIP levels.

Tbh I've had a similar experience, the micro stakes tables are full of people punting stacks but the rake does sting a bit when you're not running deep in VIP.

Tbh I've found the same, the micro stakes are a goldmine for value but that rake is painful when you're just starting a session. Multi-tabling feels smooth for me though, no major lag even with four tables up.

Yeah micros are a goldmine for sure, people just hand you chips. But man that rake eats small pots alive, I only really feel good about it once I hit platinum.

Fr, the micros are wild, but I've noticed the player pool dries up real quick once you move up to mid-stakes. Mostly just regs sitting there waiting to bumhunt.

Yeah, the micro-stakes are basically a donation center if you’ve got half a clue. But you’re spot on about mid-stakes being a ghost town, it’s just the same five nits circling each other waiting for a fish to sit down.

Tbh the mid-stakes reg infestation is too real, it's like they've all got a sixth sense for avoiding each other and only open when a rec sits down. I stick to micros for the chaos, at least the rake feels less painful when you're stacking a maniac every other hand.

ngl the mid-stakes regs are something else, they all just sit there with their HUDs refusing to play each other. I stick to micros too, at least the action is constant and you can actually stack someone with a dumb bluff.

Tbh that's exactly why I rarely leave the micros anymore, I'd rather deal with the rake than sit at a table with four nits staring at each other for an hour waiting for a fish to splash.
